Do I qualify for financial aid?

As an accredited school in Norristown Pennsylvania, Premier Barber Institute is proud to offer financial aid to those who qualify. If you’re wondering what you may qualify for, start by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®).

What programs do you offer?

At Premier Barber Institute, we offer three barber programs to help you achieve your goals:

• Barber Program: Our 1250-hour program teaches barbering skills, business savvy, exam preparation, and more!
• Barber Teacher Program: Already a licensed barber? Take your passion to the next level and inspire the next generation of barbers. Our barber teacher program can help you become a licensed instructor!
• Barber Crossover Program: If you’re already a licensed cosmetologist, this is your fast-track to learning barbering. Complete this 695-hour program in as little as six months!

We always recommend touring your top choices for barber school before choosing one to enroll in. How do I cancel or reschedule an existing salon appointment?

You can make adjustments to an existing appointment by clicking on the “Change/ Cancel Appointment” button in your confirmation email. If you’ve deleted your confirmation email, you can also call us at (844) 467-7364. Please make any adjustments at least 24 hours in advance.

What’s the difference between a barber and a cosmetologist?

Barbers are trained more specifically in techniques for short hair, facial hair grooming, and shaving. This means that barbers typically focus more on men’s hairstyling and cutting.
