Get a Practical Education
Once students have learned the latest skills and techniques of the barbering world, they’ll be able to take what they’ve learned and apply it to real clients. All of these services will be performed in our student barbershop under the direct supervision of licensed professionals. This will allow you to experience what a career path could look like after graduation and give you some first-hand knowledge and experience.
What It Takes
Premier Barber Institute, a barber school offering barber training in Norristown, PA currently offers a 1250-hour program that prepares students for their licensing examination and entry-level careers in the barbering industry.
Barber
Enter the world of barbering by applying for our program designed to prepare you for a successful career after graduation! This 1250-hour program teaches students barber techniques, business skills and etiquette, how to prepare for the state licensing exam, & more.

Barber Teacher
In our Barber Teacher program, we assist and teach licensed barbers learn how they can help others start their careers. This 1250-hour program is divided into lesson modules to help you succeed and can be completed in as little as nine months.

Barber Cross Over
This program is designed for licensed cosmetologists who want to learn specific barbering skills like men’s barbering, men’s styling, shaving, trending techniques and more. With our curriculum, students can graduate from this program with 695 hours and in as little as six months.

Don’t let paying for school be the one thing that stops you from pursuing your dream. At Premier Barber Institute, we offer a variety of financial aid options to students who qualify. All you have to do to get started is to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid® (FAFSA) form. Our admissions team would be happy to help if you have any questions about this process.

Our team is made up of highly qualified barber professionals who each have years of experience in the industry as licensed barbers. We combine their knowledge with the latest tools and equipment to help our students gain a complete education. Throughout your whole education, our team will be there each step of the way to offer advice and counseling. That means you can come to us on anything from how to start the application process with us to career tips that can prepare you for after graduation.

Our Services
Premier Barber Institute has over 30 years of experience and offers world-class cuts and shaves. Our barber school teaches our students the old-school barber shop techniques, mixed with the new school vibe and classic shave and cut styling.
Newly Remodeled Location
Come check out our newly remodeled location when you come in for a tour at our school. We’ve made some major changes to help set our students up for success with guest lectures and a demonstration floor for enhanced learning.
