Barber Program
If you want to become a licensed barber, this program is for you! As part of our barbering program, you can learn how to provide a variety of men’s cuts, fades, shaves, facial hair shaping, and so much more!
But, at Premier Barber Institute, you can gain even more experience! In our barber program you can learn how to run a business, effectively manage a salon, and follow proper sanitation best practices to keep your guests and staff healthy.
Our goal is to help prepare you to sit for the Pennsylvania state board and be eligible for licensure.
Barber Crossover Program
Already a licensed cosmetologist? Step up your haircutting game with more skills and tools you can use and add to your services by also becoming a licensed barber in a Pennsylvania.
Is it worth it when you’ve already been to cosmetology school? We think so! By choosing our barber crossover program, you don’t have to repeat the courses you’ve already taken as a cosmetologist, but you can have the opportunity to go more in-depth into men’s haircuts, beard and mustache trimming, and more.
Barber Teacher Program
Take your passion and start teaching others! We know you already have the skills to be a barber, but as a student in our barber teacher program, you can instruct others in the theory and practice in barbering.
As part of our program in Norristown, you can learn how to effectively manage your classroom, develop effective tests, and actively encourage and inspire your students to succeed.
